Lace front vs full lace wig: compare the actual cap construction

Look inside the cap and check parting, sizing and care before buying.

Locate the lace section

A lace-front description identifies lace at the front hairline. It does not describe every material used across the rest of the cap. Ask the seller to show the inside of the exact wig so you can see the front, top and back separately.

Check what full lace means on that product

Full lace generally describes a lace base extending across the cap. Compare that description with the actual construction and product specification. Hand-tied, monofilament and lace-front labels describe different features and can appear together. Ask where the hair can be parted on the particular model.

Compare fit and your intended style

Bring your head measurements and explain whether you want a fixed part, different parting positions or hair worn away from the face. Ask to see the relevant area of the cap. Compare comfort and adjustment on the actual size instead of choosing from an exterior photograph alone.

Read care and return conditions

Check the fibre type, care instructions and any fitting or attachment steps required by the manufacturer. Ask whether alterations are needed and how those affect returns. Confirm the store’s try-on policy before cutting lace, applying products or changing the wig.
